Memorial Day weekend is a special holiday in the US as we remember those that serve and who have served. From law enforement, fire, and military, we are proud of those that make this country more safe and secure. They have sacrificed what many are not willing to give up, and for that we are thankful. With that, Memorial Day allows us to spend some extra time with family and friends\u2026 to unwind and reflect after a busy first half of the year. Here are some ideas to keep you busy over the long weekend!<\/p>\n
Go Outdoors<\/p>\n
The long weekend offers you a chance to get outside and enjoy the great weather. This is a perfect time to hit the beach down in Galveston, take a walk or bike on one of the hundreds of paths around the Houston metro, or even take it easy at home and fire up the barbeque on the back patio. Whatever your activity might be, take this time to enjoy nature and take a break from all the indoor sitting from the week at work.<\/p>\n

Houston is a hotbed of entertainment for any type of person. Enjoy your selection from hundreds of bars and restaurants across the city! If you\u2019re not feeling up to a night on the town, maybe a trip to the Museum, the park, or the Houston Ballet would be suit you better! If you\u2019re in the mood for music, the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavillion in The Woodlands offers numerous concerts and shows over the long weekend. You can\u2019t go wrong with a cold beer, music, and some tunes!<\/p>\n
