Chesmarians became involved in the Light the Night campaign when one of the San Antonio Chesmar Family members began her battle with blood cancer. Each year since, the company has ramped up its participation in the yearly walk in San Antonio, raising thousands of dollars to help fund research to find cures and ensure access to treatments related to blood cancer. Ken Trainer (Chesmar\u2019s COO) and Kelly Cunningham (a loan officer at Chesmar\u2019s sister company, CLM Mortgage) were named the 2016 corporate walk co-chairs for LLS\u2019s South Central Chapter. Taking the efforts to each of the company\u2019s divisions\u2014and setting a company goal of achieving $250,000 in sponsorships and donations.
