About the Community

Westheimer Lakes is a Canyon Gate (Land Tejas) community located just outside the Grand Parkway. The project includes 592-acres of both gated and non-gated monitored neighborhoods amenitised by a network of lakes.

 

Located in Fort Bend County between 1-10 and US 59, the community offers easy access to major employment and retail centers via the Grand Parkway and The Westpark Tollway.

Westheimer Lakes is approximately 2 miles from the Grand Parkway, approximately six miles south of I-10, and 11 miles north of US59.

From I-10 west, exit the Grand Parkway south. Travel to FM 1093 and turn left to Canyon Fields Drive. Then right at Lakefair Drive and left on Overland Trail Drive. The models are located ahead on the left.

From Westpark Tollway, travel west on the Westpark Tollway until it ends at the Grand Parkway. Continue west on FM 1093 to the entrance of Westheimer Lakes. Turn left to Canyon Fields Drive. Then right at Lakefair Drive and left on Overland Trail Drive. The models are located ahead on the left.

New Home Consultant: Rafael Flamenco

Rafael is a great believer in the powerful effect of a positive attitude.  He is known for being an optimist and for having a great sense of humor; attributes learned and practiced as he played professional soccer.  While he no longer plays (at least professionally), he is still an avid follower of “the beautiful game.” 

Rafael is an alumnus of St. Edward’s University, and has spent time as a teacher and Realtor before joining Chesmar Homes.  He enjoys his family and above all else in life values time with his wife and young son. 

Chesmar buyers will appreciate Rafael’s care and dedication to community and homeownership.



Construction Manager:  Mario Quintanilla

Mario Quintanilla is known to be a straight-forward sort of fellow who enjoys the simple things in life-- his barbeque (Texas style, of course) and time with his family.  Midea, his wife and their three children Mario (age 16), Julio (age 11) and Midea (age 9) who is named after her mother will attest to the fact that to Mario things seem pretty clear-cut. 

After completing school in Houston, Mario joined his family trade to become a frame carpenter.  His interest in architecture motivated him to launch a personal study into it, from which he developed a keen understanding of the procedures, materials and standards necessary for quality home construction.  And it is to Chesmar homebuyers’ advantage to have someone with Mario’s expertise and forthright point of view to oversee the construction of their home.


Area Production Manager:  Vince Ruffino

 

After graduating from Texas A&M in 1993 Vince started his career in residential construction.  To date, he has overseen the construction of thousands of homes for happy buyers.  He states, “I enjoy the process but find even more enjoyable the final result of handing over to someone their dream home.” 

 

Weekends find Vince engaged in some kind of outdoor activity with his wife Becky and young son Trey.  He loves to fish and play golf, and he admits it is a great advantage to live where one can fish and golf year round.

 

Vince’s construction expertise and his commitment to the customer are showcased in each home he builds and delivers.
